Le cimetière fut créé a la fin du XIX ème siecle et etait utilisé par les juifs de Somerset(fait actuellement partie d'Aglona).Maintenant le cimetiere est extremement negligé.
Les juifs ont commencé a s'établir ici a la fin du XVIII ème siècle et au debut du XIX ème.Pendant la première guerre mondiale beaucoup d'entre eux s'enfuirent au plus profond de la Russie.Quand ils revinrent il trouvèrent des ruines mais une ecole juive de quatre classes avec cours en yiddish fut ouverte en 1921.En 1935,50 des 58 entreprises et boutiques a Vishki appartenaient aux juifs.A cette epoque la population juive etait de 56%(423 habitants).Du debut XIX ème a l'holocauste les rabbins etaient de la famille Platsinski.

My date is a total guess. The stone looks much older than 1929.


It is Sora-Piesha Usdin's grave.
Sora-Piesha was Nachman Yankelevich Usdin's wife.
